Job Description

We are hiring a Sales Development Manager who will have the opportunity to build and scale a team.  You will contribute to developing the strategy for success and use your creativity and experience to build and lead a rock star team.  You will work with key decision makers and customers across industries, and you have  a proven track record in B2B sales, leadership and management. 


Overall Responsibilities will include:

  • Hands on responsibility for SDR/BDR role for first 6-12 months
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) whose role consists of cold calling, prospecting, pipeline development, and opportunity identification
  • Build a culture of high productivity by establishing performance metrics and sales processes
  • Identify ways to optimize SFDC to improve SDR productivity.
  • Mentor and motivate the team to achieve performance goals through coaching and incentives
  • Collaborate with executives on innovative strategies to increase effectiveness of your group and develop best practices regarding establish a repeatable and scalable approach to generating quality leads.

Individual Responsibilities will include:

  • Contact and qualify inbound inquiries from marketing campaigns and develop innovative ways to convert prospects to pipeline.
  • Develop targeted campaigns and perform outbound Telemarketing to key technology decision makers
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors in prospecting campaigns and territory planning for a unified approach
  • Develop and secure interest from prospects and schedule initial meetings with the sales team
  • Maximize the use of SFDC to track campaigns and manage customer profile information.



 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as BDR/SDR Manager
  • Strong understanding of sales/marketing fundamentals.
  • Highly metrics and process driven
  • Proven ability to hire a great team and make it highly productive in a short period of time
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of SFDC
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
