Splice Machine one of the hottest startups in Big Data. With the only transactional RDBMS on Hadoop, Splice Machine is disrupting the traditional database market and moving Hadoop beyond analytics into real-time applications. We just recently received a $15M Series B from InterWest and Mohr-Davidow.

We need to ensure Splice Machine's Hadoop-based RDBMS functions correctly and performs scalably at all workload levels.  As a QA Engineer or Lead, you will work with engineering to design and execute tests to ensure product capabilities, stability, performance.

REQUIRED:

• Education: B.S. in CS/Engineering or equivalent
• Experience developing tests in a Java-based codebase
• SQL test development experience
• Test Automation experience

DESIRED:

• Java programming experience
• Database testing experience  - at SQL level as well as internals ODBC testing experience
• Big Data (e.g. Hadoop) testing experience, specifically HBase, highly desired
