You need to work all across the company, with world class product managers and designers, in technical areas such as distributed systems, risk models, machine learning, user interface design, and across the application stack. As an Engineering Manager on the team, you’ll hit the ground running to help us:

• Scale the team, make technical direction decisions while also directly contributing to technical work

• Make pragmatic engineering decisions in a short amount of time

• Help set a broad direction and vision, put together a strategy, and implement tactical approaches to delivery a seamless experience for our users

• Participate in key technical and design discussions with technical leads across engineering teams while being a hands-on manager

• Hire world class talent and provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members

• Manage projects and deliver quantifiable results in a timely manner

You have:

• 7+ years experience in building large scale applications using Ruby, Java or similar languages

• A strong desire to mentor and grow your engineering team

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar experience

• Led, managed and hired a team of talented software engineers

• Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills

• Excellent people skills to partner with various key business stakeholders
