Job Description

You will:

  • Partner with Square’s People team to identify, prioritize, and answer the most important people questions where analytics has a material business impact

  • Use scientific rigor to optimize outcomes in recruiting, development, and retention

  • Build self-service data tools that enable monitoring the health and performance of our teams

  • Be the subject matter expert on people data and communicate recommendations to decision makers

  • Evangelize data best practices and act as an advocate of data driven culture

Qualifications

You have:

  • 2-5 years of industry experience using data analytics to produce impactful insights

  • Experience driving cross-functional analytics projects from beginning to end: question formation, data model design, ETL, validation, analysis, machine learning, visualization, and presentation

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex results in verbal, visual, and written formats to partners at all levels of technical expertise

  • Highly flexible working style with an ability to proactively define problems and prioritize projects

  • Demonstrated interest in optimizing people processes in a fast-paced, growing organization
