Job Description

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for assisting with the administration of the day to day payroll operations and accuracy of the payroll system to deliver of the company's semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls.

You will:


  • Audit data integrity between Workday HRIS and ADP Payroll to ensure both systems are in sync on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Audit bi-weekly and semi monthly payroll cycles before they are released for processing
  • Collaborate with multiple business teams within the organization such as HR, Stock Administration and Business Systems to drive process improvements
  • Work closely with the other Payroll Analysts to provide excellent customer service to Square employees
  • Assist Payroll Manager with annual audits such as 401K and Worker's Compensation
  • Complete accounting journal entries for month-end close

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • 4+ years of payroll experience, and knowledgeable of wage and hourly payroll laws
  • Experience with Accounting processes and month-end close
  • Working knowledge with ADP Workforce Now, Workday and Oracle Financials
  • Experience with federal, state, local statutory and worker's compensation payroll audits
  • SOX Control Knowledge
  • CPP certification a plus
