Job Description

Our business is growing at a fast pace and as a result we are looking to grow our world-class courier fleet. You’ll be responsible for growing our fleet sizes in all of our Bay Area markets. Our couriers are a critical piece to our three-sided marketplace and are on the front lines of Square’s mission, economic empowerment. We need you to recruit and onboard couriers as efficiently as possible.

We are looking for a dynamic operations focused professional to own the experience at our courier hub. Someone who can be a highly independent problem solver, moving the needle of our onboarding metrics in the Bay Area. The role will be operations-focused with a balance between courier onboarding, in-person support, and inventory management.

Qualifications

You will:

  • Interview and onboard couriers in San Francisco for our Bay Area markets (including San Francisco, Marin, Berkeley/Oakland, and Sacramento).
  • Manage courier equipment inventory for the Bay Area markets and sell equipment to couriers.
  • Provide exceptional live support as you lead couriers through the onboarding process.
  • You’ll spend ~10% of your time at our corporate office in SF and 90% of your time at our onboarding hub a few blocks away. The occasional weekend onboarding session might be necessary depending on the supply needs.
  • Work with an Operations Manager to constantly optimize the onboarding process to improve the onboarding process.

You have:

  • 0-2 years of work experience, preferably with some experience in customer support or operations
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other related area (preferred).
  • An attitude of continuous improvement. You see opportunities to improve processes and unlock efficiencies everywhere.
  • Friendly and customer service oriented demeanor. You have excellent people skills that will allow you to communicate effectively with couriers from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Hustle: Caviar moves fast and runs lean. You're a people person who can talk to anyone. Flexible and fearless, you’re also excited to help build something awesome and share it with the world.
  • The energy to sell Caviar’s vision and opportunity to couriers. Your enthusiasm is contagious.

  • The confidence and awareness to deliver difficult news. We want to maintain a high quality courier fleet, so it’s your job to decide which applicants will be the face of Caviar’s brand.

  • Ability to multitask under pressure.
