Job Description

As our business continues to grow at a fast pace, we are looking to grow Caviar’s leading portfolio of restaurants. Our restaurants are a critical piece to our three-sided marketplace and are a cornerstone of our mission.

We are looking for a dynamic Restaurant Account Executive. Your primary focus will be bringing on new restaurants that fit our strict partnership criteria and driving order growth. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining existing restaurant relationships as needed. This role will require both inside and outside sales, emailing, cold calling, drop-ins and face-to-face meetings. A strong candidate will also have a strong passion for the restaurant industry and experience in consumer tech or startups. Qualifications

You will:

  • Identify and sell the best restaurants in Los Angeles to join Caviar’s platform
  • Communicate constantly with prospects via email, phone, drop-ins and face-to-face meetings
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with our merchants
  • Help to implement creative ways to continuously improve these relationships
  • Partner with and smoothly onboard new restaurants and help them achieve daily order goals
  • Achieve and consistently exceed quarterly sales goals
  • Develop best practices that are the foundation of this growing sales team
  • Act as an outward-facing ambassador of Caviar’s beliefs, brand, and product
  • Help refine Caviar’s local market strategy

You have:

  • A BA/BS degree
  • 3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role
  • A passion for Caviar, food, and the best restaurants in Los Angeles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and follow through while paying strict attention to detail
  • Strong familiarity with professional software and relationship management tools, e.g. Google Docs, Salesforce, Docusign, etc.
  • Genuine curiosity about people and the restaurant business, and possess the innate ability to inspire passion in others
  • An outgoing, positive and persuasive personality
  • Extreme ownership. You have a very strong will to win. You roll-up-your-sleeves and have a “whatever it takes” mindset. You can point to multiple experiences (personal and professional) where you exhibited grit through sustained challenges.
  • Restaurant industry or hospitality experience preferred
