Job Description

The Growth Marketing Manager will work closely with product marketers and product managers to lead efforts to grow the Square Capital business. This includes optimizing conversion rates at every step of the purchase funnel by leading marketing and product testing. This person will also oversee creation, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns including email, paid media, in-product, and offline channels.

You will:

  • Have a complete understanding of the entire purchase funnel - marketing and product - by audience segment.

  • Work with stakeholders to set growth and retention targets for each Square Capital product and create quarterly marketing plans to meet them.

  • Establish hypotheses and design frequent marketing and product experiments to improve conversions in any part of the funnel.

  • Partner with product marketers and channel partners to conceive of and implement email, paid media, in-product, and offline campaigns.

  • Analyze findings, report on KPIs, and present recommendations.

Qualifications

You have:

  • A BA/BS degree; MBA a plus

  • 5+ years of professional experience

  • 3+ years in growth, product marketing, or other analytical role

  • Extensive knowledge of email and paid marketing

  • Strong quantitative ability, and excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Comfort in a face-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment

  • Experience with testing platforms (Optimizely, Visual Website Optimizer, Bounce Exchange, etc)
    and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Site Catalyst, etc) a plus

  • Prior experience in fintech, lending, or financial services a plus. Experience working in a highly-regulated industry requiring legal and compliance reviews also a plus
