Job Description

The Business Strategy and Development Manager is an incredibly organized, business-minded, results-focused individual who will play a key role in Caviar’s market growth nationwide. You'll work closely with the Local Markets team on cross-market sales and restaurant growth strategy, geographic expansion, acquisitions, sales channel distribution and go-to-market initiatives for new products, services, and features. You’ll dive in cross-functionally with our Operations, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to drive success while ensuring our city-based teams have the tools and resources to execute strongly.

Qualifications

You will:

  • Project manage go-to-market strategies for new Caviar products, features and services
  • Be a key point-of-contact and help lead new market launches and company acquisitions
  • Help drive national restaurant sales efforts through pitch creation, research, and data analysis
  • Develop best practices, tools, and sales strategies for use by our sales teams
  • Work closely with our National Partnerships Lead on building out Caviar’s sales channel distribution strategy
  • Support the development of Caviar's restaurant brand, overseeing tools, campaigns and content that help build awareness with new and existing restaurant partners

You have:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a management consulting, operations, or business development role
  • Interest in the consumer on-demand space
  • Great people skills and relationship management ability
  • A proven ability to get things done, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the judgment to execute autonomously
  • Experience working cross-functionally across roles and geographies
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to consistently keep colleagues, team members and other key players aligned
  • Good understanding of product development, and can provide valuable feedback and technical insights to our Product team
  • A deep love of amazing food, restaurants, and the desire to consistently provide an exceptional experience to stakeholders and customers, both internally and externally
