Job Description

Square is looking for a Partnership Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing organization. In this role, your goal is to activate partner relationships to help grow Square’s seller base and increase the usage of our partners' products. This will involve a combination of strategic alignment and creative implementation in collaboration with your manager, partner managers, sales representatives, and various marketing channel and product owners. Your work will both support portfolio expansion and enable the program to scale. You will report to the Partnership Marketing Lead on the Marketing team. Occasional domestic travel is required.

You will:

  • Drive seller activations and generate leads through ongoing and quarterly partner marketing activity including

    • Product / service promotion - payments, point-of-sale, platform

    • Content development - asset curation, copy editing and copywriting, content gathering, creative / studio collaboration, desktop research, project management

    • Offer testing - hardware, software, processing, other

  • Establish budgets, financial models, performance metrics, and tracking systems for regular analysis and reporting

  • Plan campaigns / efforts / launches with a cross-functional team

  • Produce and deliver presentations to internal and partner audiences

  • Optimize results to replicate successes

  • Field partner requests, prioritizing workflow, and identifying new opportunities

  • Assist with partner onboarding and in sales enablement

  • Set up signup pages and confirming experience flows

  • Maintain a current library of partner resources

  • Help improve processes and explore approaches

Qualifications

You have:

  • A BA/BS and 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent practical work

  • Work experience in a client or partner facing role 

  • Strong communication and organization skills

Even better:

  • A background in advertising, branding or marketing for finance and/or technology

  • Been told you’re collaborative, entrepreneurial, flexible, and persuasive

  • Used Creative Suite, Google Apps, Keynote, Marketo, and Salesforce
