Job Description

The Restaurant Partnership Lead is a data-driven, strategic, results-oriented leader who will oversee a team of account managers responsible for the ongoing development of Caviar’s existing restaurant partnerships. You'll work closely with the Local Markets team on focused growth efforts, which will include account management, restaurant location expansion, menu optimization, operational troubleshooting, marketing opportunities and more. The name of the game is deepening relationships to drive more orders to Caviar’s restaurant partners and grow our business across markets. You’ll lead and develop a high-performing team to do so.

You're a proven people manager with demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, counting sales and negotiation skills among your core strengths. You are an excellent communicator, project manager, and strategic thinker. Most importantly, you have a growth mindset and are always looking for ways to improve yourself and the company. You are hungry to succeed and willing to roll up your sleeves to make it in a fast-moving company at the forefront of on-demand food ordering.

Qualifications

You will:

  • Lead a team of account managers to grow Caviar’s existing partnerships through ongoing engagement and strategic account management
  • Set, execute, and own an account management strategy that drives scalable, measurable business results
  • Work hands-on to manage key national partnerships, serving as the main point-of-contact for business leaders at these partners
  • Optimize all aspects of our partners’ experience and performance on Caviar, from their online menus, to in-store operations, to creative marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Caviar’s Local Markets, Product, Operations, Support and Marketing teams to solve partner needs and inform our overall business and product roadmap
  • Grow professionally by leading a high-impact, results-oriented team at one of the world’s most exciting technology companies

You have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a sales, account management, or business development role
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a people manager
  • World-class people, sales, and relationship-building skills
  • A proven ability to get things done, manage your time and prioritize for impact
  • A demonstrated track record of coaching and leading a high-impact team
  • Experience working cross-functionally across roles and geographies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to consistently keep colleagues, team members and other stakeholders aligned
  • Solid understanding of product development, and can provide value-added feedback and technical insights to our Product team
  • A deep love of amazing food, restaurants, and the desire to consistently provide an exceptional experience to stakeholders and customers, both internally and externally
  • Familiarity with SQL a plus
