Job Description

The Onboard Platform team builds high-performance, intelligent, automated systems to get our customers past bureaucratic hurdles and using Square's suite of products as quickly and painlessly as possible. Core to international expansion and new country launches, the team is responsible for the infrastructure that handles account creation and verification across Square’s products deployed all over the globe.

You will

  • Be a critical part of international expansion with new country launches

  • Be responsible for the infrastructure that handles all new Square accounts

  • Work with other product teams across the company to create new services and features

  • Build scalable and maintainable product architecture


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical, working experience (5+ years preferred)

  • A strong sense of customer empathy and desire to influence the product direction

  • Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for large-scale systems
