The Caviar team is building the world's best food delivery and logistics service. We’re changing the way restaurants and diners order food online. Our restaurant’s mobile iOS app enables restaurants to manage their order and in house operations in partnership with Caviar. As we integrate more with Square’s POS system, we will build the features that power an integrated in-house and delivery experience for our restaurant partners.

You will..

• Work closely with product management, design and internal teams to understand needs and develop solutions to improving operations and end-user experience.
• Have direct impact on delivery times, profit margins and customers - both internal and external.
• Make every pixel perfect, every transition accurate and responsive, and every metaphor intuitive.
  Be responsible for the entirety of your features including client structure, server interactions, API design, implementation and automated testing.
• Find ways to use the most advanced updates to the iOS platform to craft entire new products, features, and flows that are inspired, considered, and magical.
• Work with extraordinary engineers.
• Make hungry people happy.

You have..

• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals and code organization.
• Experience developing apps for iOS or Mac in Objective-C and/or Swift.
• A consistent track record of shipping quality software that positively impacts your end customer.
• A keen sense for how to make trade offs when building features and systems.

Even better..

• The ability to straddle design, client-side, and server-side development, contributing to every aspect of the product experience.
• An iOS app available in the App Store.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience in or desire to learn Ruby and Rails, Python, JavaScript, HTML and/or CSS
• A real passion for good food.
