Job Description

The Local Marketing Coordinator, a 30 hr/week contractor position, is essential to the success of the Caviar NYC team, acting as a key support function and having a hand in all things Caviar NYC marketing. You will support the Local Marketing Manager in day-to-day marketing activities and execute on campaigns and projects involving several teams (both internally and externally).

In this role, you’ll gain key experience by owning the execution of all Caviar NYC marketing. You’ll manage the Caviar NYC marketing calendar, be the voice of Caviar on @trycaviarnyc social media accounts, work with notable restaurant partners like Made Nice, EMILY pizza, Union Square Hospitality Group, (and more) on creative marketing campaigns, and support other local marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

You Will:

  • Manage @trycaviarnyc social media accounts and content calendar.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of local marketing campaigns featuring local restaurants.
  • Set up marketing campaigns and features within Caviar's mobile app/web platform using our content management system.
  • Coordinate marketing creative assets with Caviar Copy and Design team.
  • Coordinate shipments of marketing assets to local restaurant partners.
  • Manage marketing features within mobile app/web platform.
  • Track key metrics, analyze impact of projects, and recommend new ideas based on findings.
  • Work with Caviar PR team to coordinate media drops.
  • Coordinate direct mail flyer sends to targeted zip codes across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.
  • Coordinate local marketing event opportunities.

You Have:

  • 1-2 years of marketing, marketing internships, or similar experience.
  • Hustle. You’re willing to roll up your sleeves and deliver on engaging marketing campaigns for restaurants and diners in NYC.
  • An interest in both creative and analytical thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail, from using the perfect punctuation to creating well-structured spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate well with other stakeholders (both internal and external) to drive a project to completion.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to consistently deliver against deadlines.
  • An ability to get things done, and the judgment to execute well.
  • A love of food, hospitality, and interest in helping grow Caviar brand awareness in NYC.
