Job Description

We are looking for a HR Coordinator to help provide People operations support for multiple functional areas across Square.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an “all hands on deck” environment, can wear multiple hats, enjoys interacting with people and is passionate about finding ways to support our employees. You are organized, like to move fast, and know when to be flexible. The ideal candidate would be someone who can learn quickly, is very detail-oriented, loves finding solutions to problems, and holds confidentiality in high regard.

You will:

  • Provide a high-level of support to employees by responding to people questions, issues and needs -  escalating as necessary through all the ways we communicate - email, chat, slack, face-to-face and more.
  • Provide onboarding support for full-time hires - including onboarding data entry and I-9 authorizations.
  • Be proficient in using technology such as Workday, MS Excel and the g-suite.
  • Maintain and update data within Workday, such as transfers, compensation changes, and promotions, while ensuring a high degree of quality and confidentiality.
  • Assist with offboarding processing and logistics for voluntary and involuntary terminations, including conducting exit interviews.
  • Conduct regular data and process audits to ensure data accuracy, data quality and identify potential process improvements in data flow.
  • Assist HR Business Partners with HR program execution and ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Ensure that all information, data, and conversations are held in complete confidence.

You will:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent
  • 2-3 years of prior professional experience, preferably in Human Resources or Customer Support
  • Familiarity with Workday, JIRA and Excel
