Job Description

Restaurants are a critical piece to our three-sided marketplace and are a cornerstone of our mission. To support our growth, we are looking for a dynamic Restaurant Account Executive to leverage sales skills and abilities to expand the number of craveworthy restaurants that work with Caviar. Someone who's a natural at selling and knows where to find the best eats, who can enthusiastically talk about food and why Caviar is a great service for restaurants. An RAE is a strong independent worker, loves the support of learning from a team, and will challenge him/herself to turn a “No” into a “Yes”.

Your primary focus will be identifying and bringing on new restaurant partnerships that fit our strict partnership criteria. You will be in charge of maintaining and further developing existing partner relationships as needed. The role will require both inside and outside sales, emailing, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings. Qualifications

You will:

  • Partner with and smoothly onboard qualified restaurants
  • Achieve and consistently exceed quarterly sales goals
  • Lead in developing the best practices that are the foundation of this growing team
  • Maintain strong existing partnerships with our restaurants and help to implement creative ways to continuously improve these relationships
  • Act as an outward-facing ambassador of Caviar’s beliefs, brand, and product
  • Manage and sustain continuous outreach to prospects outreach to prospects via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings

You have:

  • A passion for Caviar, food, and restaurants
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a similar client-facing role
  • A BA/BS degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and follow through while paying strict attention to detail
  • Familiarity with professional software and relationship management tools, e.g. Google Docs, Salesforce, Excel, etc.
  • Strong communication skills and an excitement to work in a fast pace environment
  • Coachability, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to the consistent improvement of your craft
  • Genuine curiosity about people and business, and possess the innate ability to inspire passion in others
  • The ability to adapt to new situations quickly and think on your feet
  • An engaging, resilient and persuasive personality with an infectiously positive attitude and drive to win
  • Hustle and determination
  • Restaurant industry or hospitality experience is a plus
