Job Description

Acounnt Managers are responsible for contacting Square Sellers on a daily basis to help them understand the Capital product. You will be using language that is compliant with lending regulations however this is not a scripted position. This team will close the loop with the Capital product team to develop products that are in alpha and beta, bring direct customer feedback to meetings, and develop compliant content that is consistent product to product, across the board. Ultimately, the specialized Capital team helps merchants make the best decision for their business when it comes to Capital.

You will:

  • Conduct daily outreach to Square customers via phone and email

  • Educate customers on what’s available to them through Square Capital

  • Effectively and strategically address customer concerns and issues understanding when to transfer to a different team for retention or growth needs

  • Contribute to building the specialist team, tools and processes needed to serve an ever-increasing portion of our customer base

  • Assume a DRI role specific to the Capital Specialist team – every individual on this team will have DRI responsibilities along with core work

Qualifications

You have:

  • 1 - 2 years experience in Sales, Account Management or related field

  • Spanish and/or French language skills a plus

  • A basic understanding of Square’s features and products

  • Strong interest in business operations and strategy

  • Comfortable speaking with customers via phone

  • Passion and knowledge about how new technologies can help better serve small and medium size businesses

  • Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
