Job Description

We’re looking for for a strategic, creative and results-oriented person to help drive the success of Square Cash’s paid marketing program. The successful candidate will have a breadth of functional experience in paid marketing—including driving growth initiatives, online marketing, seasonal promotion, and LTV/ROI analysis. Strong execution, excellent quantitative analytical skill, and the ability to communicate results are critical to success in this position.

You will:

  • Partner closely with the Square Cash Brand Manager and lean marketing team
  • Be responsible for additional customer acquisition and business growth via paid marketing channels
  • Develop integrated marketing strategies collaborating with existing methodologies and execute in innovative ways, with a particular focus on the digital/online ad space
  • Effectively track paid marketing performance and consistently report results to the team
  • Act fast and be willing to make changes to existing campaigns on the fly
  • Be a proactive, motivated, risk-taking and metrics-driven individual who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Identify untapped target customers and new market opportunities by developing a deep understanding of different customer segments, Cash App value propositions and unmet needs

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years professional experience in executing paid marketing campaigns to drive acquisition/growth
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative data analytic skills (e.g. SQL/Analysis Design) and solid problem solving skills, idea generation as well as excellent attention to detail
  • Comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, iterative start-up environment
  • Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation and ownership
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in the consumer tech space
  • BA/BS degree required
