Job Description

Caviar’s Markets Team works to design, analyze, and implement strategies that enable us to scale efficiently. Our analytics team works to support teams across the organization, covering everything from growth strategy to product analytics to sales operations, in addition to building and maintaining the data infrastructure that lets Caviar run smoothly and make data-driven decisions.

We’re searching for a growth analyst to join our team to provide robust analytics support to our marketing team. You’ll serve as a data expert, reporting guru, and insights engine as you partner with our marketing leaders to unlock growth across our markets. You’ll gain experience with many aspects of marketing and will have the opportunity for ownership over analytics initiatives -- in this role you’ll be expected to not only report on data, but to make recommendations and provide actionable insights to improve our business. We’re looking for someone hungry for hands-on experience, eager to quickly develop new skills as needs arise, and willing to take ownership of new projects.

Qualifications

You will:

  • Help drive the growth of Caviar by leveraging data and analytic expertise; use data to derive actionable marketing insights.

  • Partner with Marketing to measure campaign effectiveness, support ongoing growth tests, expand data use across team, and uncover diner insights.

  • Become a subject matter expert for Caviar marketing data and act as an analytics resource for other teams.

  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards and continue to improve other key data infrastructure components, including ETLs.

  • Develop new analytic tools or models to enable Marketing to make faster, smarter business decisions.


You have:
  • 2+ years of proven experience working with large data sets and performing deep-dive analyses to deliver actionable insights.

  • Ability to apply strong business judgement to quantitative analyses and to communicate results clearly.

  • Ability to collaborate and manage multiple projects at once.

  • Interest in specializing in marketing analytics; prior experience with marketing analytics a plus.

  • Expert knowledge of SQL and Excel/Sheets; experience with statistical modeling languages such as R or Python a plus.

  • Experience with data infrastructure management a plus.

  • Experience with Looker, Tableau, GitHub, Airflow, and/or Vertica a plus.

  • Interest and aptitude for quickly ramping up on new skills/tools as needed.
