Job Description

As Inclusion Program Manager, you’ll ensure that the Square Inclusion ecosystem functions at a world-class level. Your focus will be to project manage all internal Inclusion efforts and work closely with the Inclusion & Diversity Lead to design innovative, engaging, data-driven programs, ensuring that all Squares have the support and tools they need to thrive. You’ll partner with our employee communities, Office Experience, People Products, Communications, Analytics and HRBP teams to measure and maintain current Inclusion programming and develop cutting-edge initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with and provide leadership for the eleven (and growing!) Square Communities to build and strengthen visibility, scope, and impact.

  • Engage employees across the organization with an innovative, human-centered design approach to Inclusion initiatives and programs.

  • Measure the effectiveness of and iterate on Square’s Inclusion initiatives through ongoing qualitative conversation with Communities and regular quantitative survey of all Squares.

  • Work with the People Product team to infuse Inclusion into People Programs and build tailored opportunities for career growth, development, and retention of diverse talent.

  • Partner with the Communications and Office Experience team to develop a regular cadence for sharing Square’s Inclusion initiatives and progress with internal and external audiences.

  • Build and manage Inclusion Communications and social media.

  • Develop relationships with the external tech Inclusion & Diversity community to learn and lead on topics related to equity, sharing findings and implementation strategy for industry best practices.

  • Facilitate relationships between Square’s Communities and employee resource groups across the tech industry.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience with organizing employee resource groups, student resource groups, or partnerships with social impact organizations/non-profits

  • Passion for inclusion, equity and relationship building

  • Ability to communicate authentic empathy

  • Experience with designing and implementing inclusion initiatives

  • Comfort with public speaking

  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated success

  • BS/BA degree
