Job Description

AM Capital Specialists are responsible for contacting Square Sellers on a daily basis to help them understand the Capital product. You will be using language that is compliant with lending regulations however this is not a scripted position. This team will close the loop with the Capital product team to develop products that are in alpha and beta, bring direct customer feedback to meetings, and develop compliant content that is consistent product to product, across the board. Ultimately, the specialized Capital team helps merchants make the best decision for their business when it comes to Capital.

You will:

  • Conduct daily outbound outreach to Square customers via phone and email

  • Educate customers on what’s available to them through Square Capital

  • Effectively and strategically address customer concerns and issues understanding when to transfer to a different team for retention or growth needs

  • Contribute to building the specialist team, tools and processes needed to serve an ever-increasing portion of our customer base

  • Become an expert on a product for the Capital Specialist team- every individual on this team will be responsible for educating teammates on the product they’re responsible for

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 0-2 years of experience in Account Management or Sales

  • Passion for Square

  • Confidence working independently

  • Superior time management skills

  • An understanding of the lending space

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Goal oriented and metric driven 

  • Salesforce skills are a plus
