Payments is Square’s core product, and within it is the Terminal Web team. The Terminal Web team is focused on the core experience around moving money. Some of our products and services include:

• Virtual Terminal, allows merchants to accept Card Present and Card Not Present payments directly on their computers

• Card on File, allows merchants to securely store customer’s card and charge it later (with Appointments, Invoices, Virtual Terminal, API, POS, etc.)

Our products and services are mainly built for the web. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will build the front-end features to create a seamless experience for our merchants and the underlying backend components that power them. You will:

• Create and optimize the core payment product experiences using Ember.js, Java,  MySQL (also Ruby and Go)

• Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests

• Build extensive, reliable support for product data logging and metrics

• Work closely with our product, engineering, analytics, and marketing teams

You have:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical, working experience (4+ years preferred)

• Been self-driven, open to collaboration and willing to grow as an engineer

• A strong sense of customer empathy and desire to influence the product direction

• Curiosity in numbers and metrics with a focus on measurable impact

Even better if you are experienced in:

• Web development, Ember.js

• Full stack development

• Cross-team and cross-functional collaboration
