The payment team empowers sellers to accept payments in a simple, fast, and elegant way. As a product manager on the payments team you will be responsible for scaling the largest product at Square to serve the growing needs of our sellers. You will work on improving customer engagement across mobile and desktop by driving product initiatives from inception through execution. In this role you will collaborate closely with your product designer, engineers, analyst, product marketer, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that our products amaze and delight our users.

You will:

• Help shape and drive the strategy for Payments.

• Develop seller empathy to better plan and build products to meet their needs.

• Lead the planning, scoping, and prioritization of projects to achieve short and long term goals. You will be responsible for outlining entire roadmaps and project requirements, goals, and constraints.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with: Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk

• Represent the team in communication with cross functional teams

You have:

• Experience: 5+ years of product management responsibilities

• Analytics: Leverage data to make informed decisions that can be clearly articulated.

• Leadership: You will be the point person for an entire product area. You will be responsible for continually evolving and representing your defined strategies and initiatives

• Efficiency: Excellent organization and prioritization skills

• Collaboration: Track record of delivering results with cross-functional teams
