Job Description

Square’s marketing team represents and advocates for the voice of the seller, shapes our brand identities and generates demand for our products and services. The Retail Merchandising Manager will own the creation and execution of best in class in-store and online merchandising to drive discovery for Square’s Point of Sale/Payments hardware and software solutions in the Retail channel. Reporting to the Retail Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for in-store displays/POP collateral, online product page optimization, store associate training and new vendor onboarding.

You Will

  • Develop and execute in-store temporary and permanent displays at retail accounts selling Square Hardware products (Best Buy, Walmart, Staples, Office Depot, etc)

  • Build project schedules, establishing key dates and milestones for retail marketing campaigns.

  • Manage quarterly physical audits of retail channel to assess retail marketing presence and measure inventory levels.

  • Maintain retail permanent displays to ensure compliance; work with display vendors to make sure display part inventory is adequate to support new store launches and existing display repairs.

  • Partner with creative teams to continuously improve retailer E-commerce pages (Amazon.com, bestbuy.com, etc); conduct regular audits of retail product pages to ensure Square’s online presence is consistent.  

  • Work with external agencies and internal partners to source retail marketing collateral such as dummy boxes, training materials, etc.

  • Support commercialization of Square software products at Retail (ie, Payroll)

  • Manage retail production budget to ensure merchandising costs are coming in on or under budget.

Qualifications

You Have

  • 3+ years experience in a retail merchandising/production role (technology related products are a plus)

  • Agency management experience required

  • Self-starter attitude and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand

  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere

  • A BA or relevant experience
