Job Description

We are looking for a creative, organized, and results-oriented leader to join Square as a Campaign Marketing Specialist working with Square Capital, Square’s lending group. The Campaign Marketing Specialist will work closely with product marketing managers to achieve the team’s marketing objectives and drive growth for the Square Capital business. This role will have a strong emphasis on creation, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns including email, paid media, in-product, and offline channels.

You will:

  • Partner closely with product marketing managers to conceive of acquisition and lifecycle marketing campaigns, as well as identify goals and key performance indicators

  • Lead implementation of email, paid media, in-product, and offline campaigns, including set up of tracking and reporting

  • Drive the creative development process for marketing materials by collaborating with Design, Copywriting, Paid Marketing, Agency, and Legal Teams

  • Analyze campaign metrics, report on KPIs, and present optimization recommendations to the team

  • Ensure timely completion of all project milestones while keeping all involved teams informed

Qualifications

 

  • A BA/BS degree

  • 2+ years of professional experience

  • 1+ years of marketing experience

  • Knowledge of email and paid marketing for both acquisition as well as lifecycle marketing

  • Superior project management, time management, and attention to detail

  • Strong quantitative ability, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Comfort in a face-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Iterable, Marketo, Hubspot), testing platforms (Optimizely, Visual Website Optimizer, Bounce Exchange, etc), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Site Catalyst, etc) a plus

  • Prior experience in fintech, lending, or financial services a plus. Experience working in a highly-regulated industry requiring legal and compliance reviews also a plus
