The Finance & Strategy team is looking to hire a Sales Pricing Operations Analyst. This role will work closely with the Sales team and play an integral part in pricing strategy, deal pricing and negotiations, and sales operations.
Play a key role in setting competitive pricing across Square’s portfolio of products to best position the sales team to close deals
Build, maintain and enforce a pricing framework across all Square products
Become an expert in credit card processing and point-of-sale competitor fees
Perform pricing audits and analyses to inform changes to go-forward pricing implementation and strategy
Analyze deal terms with strategic partners, advise on in-process negotiations, and propose creative solutions to reach a goal or maximize an outcome
Support strategic decision making, which will include analytics initiatives such as competitive pricing analysis, financial modeling, and sales performance measurement
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant field
Proficiency in Excel
Basic understanding of the payments industry
Excellent interpersonal skills
A highly analytical and inquisitive work style with a keen attention to detail -- but also ability to see the big picture
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
A strong passion for Square’s mission
1-2 years of work experience in finance, accounting, pricing or related field preferred
Experience with SQL, Tableau and/or Salesforce is a plus
