Job Description

Looking for a highly organized and driven individual to join Square Quality Team. This Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining test plans and testing Square E-commerce products. The main focus of the role will revolve around testing a range of online and mobile E-commerce products and features. Ideal candidates will have 5 or more years in online and mobile applications testing with a firm understanding of quality principals, and best practices.

You will:

  • Collaborate with the production departments and relevant stakeholders to continuously improve, document, and communicate the Quality Assurance process and Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise to create, maintain, and extend the test case library
  • Analyze and understand requirements; devise a test strategy, test plan, test cases to adequately cover the requirements; develop high-level test scenarios that implement the strategy; elaborate scenarios into detailed test cases
  • Gain general understanding of in-house custom applications and business processes
  • Collaborate with business and development teams to produce requirements that are well-documented and clear
  • Work with in-house teams to develop test scripts & improve automation
  • Review testing artifacts with Squad and Development team members, and update testing strategy accordingly
  • Ensure quality in all deliverables based on the Key Quality Attributes of Completeness, Correctness, Accuracy, and Consistency
  • Maintain quality metrics and develop quality reports for deliverables

Qualifications

  • 5+ year of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) test experience of complex applications
  • Thorough knowledge of SQA theory and methodology
  • Can define and execute different types of testing
  • Ability to define and execute different types of testing
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • High proficiency with JIRA/Confluence
  • Effectively communicate issues with software and propose solutions
  • Strong organizational skills SQA, Testing, Manual
