Job Description

Square has grown rapidly in the United States over the last 10 years to be a listed company worth nearly $30B. We now have offices around the world including in Australia, Canada, Japan, the UK and Dublin. We are seeking for our European head office in Dublin office a friendly, dynamic and well rounded individual who can help support the team as it scales both in Dublin and across the European region.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate day-to-day office operations.
  • Be responsible for building localized programs that connect Squares with each other and their communities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Culinary, Facilities, Events, AV, etc) to ensure those areas of the office are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Support employee, candidate, and guest experience.
  • Responsible for managing the office budget and reconciling it monthly.
  • Respond to all work order tickets submitted.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors on site (janitorial, pest, furniture).
  • Create inspiring, engaging experiences and/or installations featuring Square customers.
  • Fosters a strong, individual office culture for the Dublin office by collaborating with local people leads to organise offsites and team events, including research, agenda development, feedback tracking, recommendations for future events
  • Leads team seating moves, adds, and changes to processes end-to-end, gathering feedback, developing seating proposals with corresponding tradeoffs, pushing leads toward decisions, and executing moves.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with local and UK-based Squares, along with other site leads.
  • Helps Dublin-based Squares navigate Square processes, procedures, products, and communications.
  • Responsible for scheduling, travel & expenses, meeting administration and document administration for site lead

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Office Manager, Office Coordinator, Project manager, or Executive Assistant experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in small startup environments a plus
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated administrative experience supporting a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight and/or collaboratively as the situation requires.
  • Extremely reliable and with impeccable attention to detail
  • Thrives in an environment with multiple different projects, prioritizing appropriately
  • Strong vendor management experience
