Job Description

The Account Management team works with the largest Square merchants to grow their business. We are hiring an Account Manager for our London office to build out the function and bring our customers a unique mix of technical and business insight to help accelerate their adoption of Square. You will have an opportunity drive quantifiable impact on our business through incremental revenue and customer retention.

You will:

  • Master the Square Platform capabilities and value to drive client conversations across merchants of all sizes

  • Spread the magic of Square Platform to existing merchants and help them achieve their business goals

  • Build and maintain a book of business and exceed your sales targets

  • Lead in developing and circulating the set of best practices which are the foundation of our growing Account Management team

  • Use customer insights to identify challenges and work with Sales, Support, Marketing and Product Management to present requests to the products

  • Roll up your sleeves as no task is too small

  • Act as an outward-facing ambassador of Square’s beliefs, brand and products

Qualifications

You have:

  • A proven track record of exceeding targets

  • 4+ years of experience in a Sales or Account Management role in the technology industry

  • An analytical and structured thought process with the ability to assess business opportunities and work on strategic initiatives

  • Excellent organisation, collaboration, written and verbal skills

  • A passion and knowledge about how new technologies can help better serve businesses of all sizes

  • A strong desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging and exciting environment

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
