Job Description

As our business continues to grow at a record pace, we are looking to grow Caviar’s leading portfolio of craveworthy restaurants in Chicagoland. Our restaurants are a critical piece to our three-sided marketplace and a cornerstone of our mission.

Who are we looking for? Someone who's a natural at selling, negotiating and persuading. Someone who can enthusiastically talk about food, why Caviar is a great service for restaurants, and negotiate a favorable and fair price.

Your primary focus will be bringing on new restaurant partners that fit our strict partnership criteria, and helping drive sales growth with those new partners. The role will require emailing, cold calling, face-to-face meetings, and support with menu buildout and restaurant launch.If you are hungry to join a fast-paced, rapidly growing company at the forefront of on-demand food delivery, please get in touch.

The role is a six month at-will contract based in Chicago with potential for conversion to full time pending performance and business results. This is a phenomenal opportunity to join the ground floor of a fast growing company!

Qualifications

You will:

  • Identify and sell the best restaurants in Chicagoland to join Caviar’s platform

  • Communicate constantly with prospects via email, phone, drop-ins and face-to-face meetings (switch on a dime from highly scaled email campaigns to high-impact drop-ins)

  • Achieve and consistently exceed quarterly sales goals

  • Partner with and smoothly onboard new restaurants and help them achieve daily order goals

  • Act as an outward-facing ambassador of Caviar’s values, brand, and product

  • Contribute to a collaborative, fun and high-performing local culture

 

Qualifications

You have:

  • Sales experience in the on-demand food delivery industry and knowledge of / connections with restaurants in Chicago

  • Extreme ownership. You roll up your sleeves and have a very strong will to win.  You can point to multiple experiences where you exhibited grit and outperformed as the underdog.

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role (sales experience in the on-demand food delivery industry is a huge plus)

  • A passion for Caviar, food and the best restaurants in Chicago

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and follow through while paying strict attention to detail

  • Strong familiarity with professional software and relationship management tools, e.g. Google Docs, Salesforce, Docusign, etc.

  • An outgoing, positive and persuasive personality
