Software Engineer, Caviar Restaurants

Caviar Restaurants is looking for engineers who care about implementing the perfect user experience as well as solving the hard engineering problems of writing well-architected code and building better systems. We are looking for teammates with strong product and design intuition, able to leverage their technical knowledge while working with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers.
In this role, you will help the team realize Caviars next opportunity for 10x growth.
Build complex, modern front-end architectures with beautiful, consistent, fast UIs for our restaurant partners
Collaborate with other engineers within Caviar and across Square to implement best front-end practices in our team
Partner with designers and product managers to define the best UX and UI for the tools were building
Empower restaurant owners to grow their business and delight their diners
You will be working on our main web front-end stack: Ember, ES6, Sass.
Experience in any server-side technology and/or framework (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Python, Java)
Understanding of principles of design (UI/UX)
Thoughtfulness about what youre building and why, not just how
Interest in working in a product-focused environment
Prior experience with restaurants (other than eating food- but that is great too!)
Love for good food
