Product Manager, Payments

As a Product Manager at Square, you will be responsible for driving product initiatives from inception through execution. In this role you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that our products amaze and delight our users. You will be focused on making the process of adding and moving funds from you Square balance as intuitive and easy as possible, helping sellers ‘get paid’ reliably, and immediately using Instant Deposit if they choose.
Own delivery of product initiatives and releases
Develop seller empathy in multiple markets to inform your road map, balancing current and future needs
Write user narratives to imagine the experience a customer may have
Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases
Collaborate with engineers and designers to edit the service and product
Communicate development status and document progress toward milestones
Prioritize and sequence product initiatives against a mandate
Perform market research and analysis
Represent the team with cross-functional partners and senior company leaders in order to align resources and prioritization
A track record of shipping and iterating on successful products with cross-functional teams
Prior experience building complex full-stack products, ideally in mobile; Prior experience as an engineer or in the ecommerce/retail or payments industry is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership, the ability to drive product strategy and work well with senior engineers and designers.

Excellent organization and prioritization skills
5+ years of product management experience or equivalent
