Job Description

We are looking for a Global Recruiting Operations Manager to lead a high-powered team in solving problems, creating efficiencies, and introducing new automation in our recruiting workflows. You will lead recruiting operations for Block, inclusive of our systems, workflows, analytics, and reporting while embodying a consultative and service-oriented approach to our partners and stakeholders. You will oversee a hugely impactful team that partners with and supports a large, complex, global recruiting organization within Block (including Square, Cash App, TIDAL, TBD, and Spiral). 

You will work with recruiting leaders and cross-functional partners to propose and drive system and process improvements that align with evolving business needs, deliver results, and enable us to build and run a self-service organization.

You Will:

  • Manage a 7-person team responsible for enabling the overall Block talent organization to work more effectively, to execute locally and at scale, and to create new value by incorporating more modern practices, deploying more innovative tooling solutions, and delivering more consistent outcomes.

  • Lead optimization, training, and prioritization for all hiring tools and processes. These include the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), sourcing tools, offer letters, new hire document collection, and all other software and technology supporting recruiting.

  • Manage performance and reporting for Talent tools, including custom reporting and dashboards.

  • Assess stakeholder needs, present ideas clearly and effectively, guide productive discussions, facilitate the decision-making process, and communicate and manage change.

  • Partner across the organization with HR and Business Operations and M&A teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in the Recruiting operations space, plus 2+ years experience directly managing a team.
  • An ability to build efficient and scalable processes. You appreciate the structure, but can operate flexibly and with a growth mindset.

  • Curiosity. You're innovative, creative, and always looking for ways to improve processes that lead to a better user/client experience.

  • A track record of successfully guiding, motivating, and managing teams.
