Job Description

The Supply Planning Analyst will be responsible for documenting, refining, and optimizing retail inventory requirements with buy-in from both internal and external partners.  This individual will also manage supply for our third party peripherals and oversee the backorder management process.

You possess a passion for innovative analysis, processes that scale, and the wherewithal to develop findings and recommendations that transcend the numbers. Ideally, you have an inventory planning background in consumer electronics or retail. 


You will:

  • Monitor in-stocks and inventory levels at our retail partners ensuring supply is optimized to maximize sales

  • Ensure that retailer orders are aligned to inventory requirements and sales forecasts

  • Manage external communication with inventory counterparts at retailer partners

  • Highlight supply risks and develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities

  • Partner and work closely with business systems team to enhance or develop internal tools to make the retail planning and backorder management functions sustainable and scalable

Qualifications

You have:

  • Ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions even in the face of ambiguous data points

  • A persistent attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate information

  • Sense of urgency around time sensitive issues impacting the business

  • Demonstrated capacity for thinking objectively and interpreting meaningful trends from quantitative and qualitative data

  • Capable of building constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners

  • Ability to navigate the organization – strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, aptitude to learn technical applications (Oracle, vendor portals, etc.) quickly and familiarity with retail math

  • Minimum 2 years experience in supply planning or 4 years of relevant ops or supply chain experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
