The Local Marketing coordinator, a 10-15 hr/week contractor position, is essential to the success of the Caviar Bay Area Team team, acting as a key support function to execute communications to our key audience (our diners). You will support the Local Marketing Manager in day-to-day marketing activities and execute on campaigns and projects involving several teams (both internally and externally). This is a part-time, contractor position (2-3 days/week) for 4 months, with potential for extension pending performance. We are flexible with regards to when and where you work, but would expect you to come to the Caviar office during business hours at least two days per week.
In this role, you’ll gain key experience by owning the execution of Caviar Bay Area email marketing. You’ll help manage the Caviar Bay Area marketing calendar and work with notable restaurant partners like Souvla, RT Rotisserie, Tacolicious and more on creative marketing campaigns, and support other local marketing initiatives as needed. This is a great opportunity to learn about cross-functional marketing, email marketing execution, and growing brand awareness, as well as to apply local knowledge to marketing communications to drive new diners in the Bay Area.
Drive end-to-end execution of local marketing campaigns featuring local restaurants.
Set up email marketing and social campaigns and features within Caviar's mobile app/web platform using our content management system.
Coordinate marketing creative assets with Caviar Copy and Design team.
Coordinate shipments of marketing assets to local restaurant partners.
Track key metrics, analyze impact of projects, and recommend new ideas based on findings.
Assist local marketing in executing events.
1-2 past marketing, brand, or other relevant internships, or similar academic or professional experience.
Hustle. You’re willing to roll up your sleeves and deliver on engaging marketing campaigns for restaurants and diners in the Bay Area.
An interest in both creative and analytical thinking.
Strong attention to detail, from using the perfect punctuation to creating well-structured spreadsheets.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong project management skills and ability to consistently deliver against deadlines.
An ability to get things done, and the judgment to execute well.
A love of food, hospitality, and interest in helping grow Caviar brand awareness in the Bay Area.
