Job Description
Restaurants are a critical piece to our three-sided marketplace and are a cornerstone of our mission. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a dynamic Restaurant Account Executive who will expand the number of craveworthy restaurants that work with Caviar. A strong candidate will be a natural at selling, have a strong passion for the restaurant industry, be a highly organized sales professional and have experience in consumer tech or startups. This role will require both inside and outside sales, emailing, cold calling, drop-ins and face-to-face meetings.
Your primary focus will be identifying and bringing on new restaurants partners that fit our strict partnership criteria and market strategy. In addition to closing deals, you will be a key stakeholder for implementation and responsible for further developing your existing partner relationships as needed.

Qualifications
You will:
Achieve and consistently exceed quarterly restaurant sales goals
Manage and sustain continuous outreach to prospects via emails and phone calls as well as face-to-face meetings
Partner with and smoothly onboard new restaurants and help them maximize order volume
Identify and effectively negotiate with the best restaurants in Portland to join Caviar’s platform
Maintain strong relationships with the Portland restaurant community
Act as an outward-facing ambassador of Caviar’s beliefs, brand, and product
Develop best practices that are the foundation of this growing sales team
Help develop Caviar’s local market strategy in Portland
Be an advocate for restaurants while always working to support Caviar’s business needs
Qualifications
You have:
A BA/BS degree
2+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role
Restaurant or hospitality industry experience is a plus
A passion for Caviar, food, and the restaurant community in Portland
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and follow through while paying strict attention to detail
Familiarity with professional software and relationship management tools, e.g. Google Docs, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Docusign, etc.
Genuine curiosity about people and restaurants, and the ability to inspire passion in others
An engaging, resilient, positive and persuasive personality
Extreme ownership. You have a very strong will to win. You roll-up-your-sleeves and have a “whatever it takes” mindset. You can point to multiple experiences (personal and professional) where you exhibited resilience during challenges
