Job Description

We are looking for a creative, results-oriented leader to join Square as a Partner Marketing Manager working with Square Capital, Squares lending group. The Partner Marketing Manager will excel in building strong internal and external relationships, working closely with product marketing, product, and business development to build a best-in-class marketing program dedicated to driving business through our network of partners. This role will have a strong emphasis on collaborating with our partners to create, execute, and optimize partner co-marketing campaigns including email, in-product, paid media, and offline channels.

You Will:

  • Establish and own a marketing strategy to maximize acquiring customers to Square Capital through our partners.

  • Work closely with product marketing, product, business development, and our partners to develop joint go-to-market programs leveraging a mix of owned, earned, and paid media channels. This includes leading implementation of email, paid media, in-product, and offline campaigns, including setting up tracking and reporting.

  • Have a passion for analyzing metrics, running experiments, and optimizing campaigns. This person will also regularly report out on performance to internal and partner teams.

  • Drive the creative development process for partner marketing campaigns by collaborating with design, copywriting, partner marketing, and legal teams.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with cross-functional colleagues and Square partners to support our shared success.

  • Ensure timely completion of all project milestones while keeping all involved teams informed.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • A BA/BS degree

  • 5+ years of professional experience

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, particularly working in partner marketing and/ or at an agency

  • Strong knowledge of email and paid marketing for both acquisition and lifecycle marketing

  • Superior project management, time management, and attention to detail

  • Experience working with agencies to develop content for campaign messaging

  • Prior experience in fintech, lending, or financial services a plus. Experience working in a highly-regulated industry requiring legal and compliance reviews also a plus
