Job Description

Our Sales organization is looking for a skilled sales professional with experience selling to VP and C-level executives to help grow our footprint into large, complex accounts ($50MM+). You have a passion for problem solving and finding opportunities for Square to help large companies improve and expand their commerce channels and capabilities. You are a relationship builder, good listener, collaborative partner, dynamic project manager, proactive problem solver and strategic thinker.

The successful candidate will have experience driving cross-functional internal teams, be comfortable dealing with uncertainty in a fast-paced environment, and be able to put structure to nebulous problems. Your are highly entrepreneurial and have the ability to thrive under minimal guidance.  We are looking for an individual that has a breadth of functional experience in sales, business development, partnership building, and the ability to articulate complex systems to C-level executives.

You will:

  • Lead the charge selling the Square platform into Enterprise level customers

  • Build relationships with C-level executives (CFO, CIO, CTO, CMOs, and VPs) to understand product fit

  • Own the sales cycle from prospect to close and partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth on-boarding

  • Act as an innovative, trusted advisor for both clients and internal partners

  • Collaborate with Payments, Product, and Marketing teams to channel the customer voice internally, impact product roadmaps, and ensure our solutions meet the needs of the market

  • Thrive in operating in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment that is prone to change

  • Achieve and consistently exceed bi-annual sales goals

  • Travel: ~40%


You have:

  • 9+ years in a qualifying or prospecting role required

  • A BA/BS degree or relevant experience

  • Experience selling a complex ecosystem of SaaS or payments products and solutions to the C-suite of Enterprise companies

  • Comfort with navigating in uncertain and dynamic environments with limited oversight

  • Critical thinking and strong decision-making abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners

  • The ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Aptitude to translate complexity into simple and intuitive conversations
