Job Description

We are looking for a HR Coordinator to help provide HR operations support for multiple functional areas  across Square.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an “all hands on deck” environment, can wear multiple hats, enjoys interacting with people and is passionate about finding ways to support our employees. You are organized, like to move fast, and know when to be flexible. The ideal candidate would be someone who can learn quickly, is very detail-oriented, loves finding solutions to problems, and holds confidentiality in high regard.

 

You will ...

  • Maintain and update data within Workday, such as transfers and compensation changes while ensuring a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Provide a high-level of support to employees by responding to questions and escalating issues as necessary - this includes company policies and internal guidelines via email, in-person, chat, and Help Desk hours.

  • Work cross-functionally to update Employee Handbook on a regular basis.

  • Assist with offboarding processing and logistics for voluntary and involuntary terminations, including conducting exit interviews

  • Complete regular data audits to ensure data accuracy

  • Ensure that all information, data, and conversations are held in complete confidence.

Qualifications

  • Able to maintain a high level confidentiality. You know that the work we do is often sensitive and you’ll use good judgment.

  • Self-driven, motivated, and eager to learn HR.

  • Incredibly detail-oriented and have superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow through on tasks. You don't get overwhelmed easily.

  • Naturally curious. You're innovative, extremely creative and constantly looking for ways to tweak and optimize process.

  • Self aware, well-spoken, professional and eloquent in emails.

  • Fun. You're a people person who can talk to anyone. You know how to have fun and celebrate success.

  • A team player who is able to cultivate and influence relationships. You’re willing to jump-in wherever and whenever needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1-3 years of prior professional experience, preferably in Human Resources

  • Familiarity with Workday and Service Cloud a plus
