Job Description

On the Creative Team, its our job to make people excited about Square and help them understand how our products work. You will constantly elevate the creative work to meet the ambition of the brand while delivering outstanding business results. Everything you work on will be designed to reinforce the Square brand, drive awareness and understanding of Square products, and advance the overall Square business. We are an experienced, award-winning, full-service creative team. Examples of what we do include copy, art direction, design, web strategy and design, video, photography, production, and operations. You will partner closely with our insights, brand, product, and channel teams to create innovative work. Additionally, you should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative, data-driven, cross-functional organization.

 

Were looking for an experienced Art Director to help lead creative campaigns in a variety of mediums. On a day to day basis, youll collaborate with the rest of the creative team to launch initiatives across all aspects of the company, externally as well as internally.

Qualifications

You have:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Multi-disciplinary experience: campaigns, interactive, digital, social, video

  • Great design skills that cover a wide range of creative execution

  • Portfolio demonstrating past experience launching major campaigns

  • Be comfortable with projects that may not be completely defined and use a scrappy, resourceful approach to bring definition and drive results when needed

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills: meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once

  • Savviness with new and traditional brand channels and mediums

  • Develop and explore a variety of concepts within a set period of time, balance creativity and attention to detail with swift execution

  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Develop pitch decks and project approaches that deliver innovative solutions that drive the company and business forward
