What does the team do?

Caviar delivers delicious food to diners, with exceptional service and an effortless experience. Our team delivers this experience to companies; to office managers and hungry people at work. Our main products are catering and group-ordering.

We are a small team but we have a large impact on Caviar's business. Our product drives high-margin orders to restaurants, which makes Caviar a more attractive partner to restaurants. On top of this, these orders make-up a significant part of Caviar's revenue and profit.

Many of the problems we solve are very different to the consumer-side of Caviar. We own these experiences that our customers, restaurants and Catering Captains rely on daily. This means that we have a wide-range of projects to work on.

We take a product-oriented approach to development. We have a dedicated PM and designer who we collaborate with daily. We don’t subscribe to a particular agile approach, but use agile principles as a guide.

What you will be doing

The Caviar Marketo Campaign Specialist is a strategic, detail-oriented individual who’s looking to make a lasting impact, fast. Caviar helps companies feed their office with meals from local restaurants in cities nationwide. This role will re-engage prospective leads on Caviar for Companies, educating them about the benefits of choosing Caviar and drive demand to implement a Caviar meal program at their office.

You will be responsible for designing and automating email and lifecycle programs with goal of converting leads and driving more orders from existing customers. You’ll help determine the best audience segments to target for lead gen campaigns, with the goal of driving companies to start conversations with our Caviar for Companies sales team. You’ll oversee the growth of our database of addressable prospective leads -- working to build out automated marketing programs to warm and nurture upper funnel leads through sales activation. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing automation systems, an eye for design, and the ability to debug programmatic issues.

You’ll work closely with the Caviar for Companies organization and members of the Caviar marketing team, as well as interface with the Marketo team at Square.

This role is an 8 month contract. 

You Will:

  • Help drive strategy to generate leads for the Caviar for Companies sales team.

  • Define and implement automated and one-off or multi-tiered email campaigns to nurture prospective leads down the conversion funnel

  • Assist with the oversight of all marketing automation programs -- including marketing scoring models, nurturing flows and rules, and company-wide best practices

  • Grow prospect database of addressable leads

  • Help measure and analyze campaign performance to inform ongoing marketing strategy



You Have:

  • A love of trying new things — eager to brainstorm, ideate, and quickly test new ideas

  • 4+ years of first-hand, in-depth experience with Marketo, Salesforce, and marketing operations

  • 4+ years of work experience in business, marketing or communications; ideally in a B2B setting

  • Experience working with Salesforce: from reporting to campaign creation

  • An understanding of industry best practices for content and email marketing

  • A love of data and can analyze a marketing funnel; you can identify and size different growth opportunities and the various ways to meet them

  • An energetic and willing attitude

  • CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA knowledge

  • Lead scoring experience

  • Basic HTML & CSS editing

  • An eye for well-designed emails and landing pages

  • Basic copywriting

  • Experience in B2B and/or content marketing
