Job Description

Role:

We are looking for a dedicated PLM Analyst to lead the change management process for hardware products. You will be responsible for managing the PLM system for all products; this includes leading the change management process through ECOs and Deviations to Implementation. You will also help the team identify improvement opportunities and build tools to drive efficiency/accuracy for material management, process, and tracking activities at the factories for both NPI and sustaining.

You will:

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations to develop BOMs: creation of documentation and part numbers as well as BOM structure

  • Initiate and manage ECOs to document and communicate changes of the BOM to our contract manufacturers

  • Assist PLM Administrator on process / maintenance of system, including system training

  • Build strong relationships with our contract manufacturers to roll out changes and track implementation to closure

  • Conduct regular audits of our contract manufacturers BOMs and change management process

  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to identify improvements to our business processes to drive best practices.

  • Support the cross functional team with consistent documentation and reporting

  • Maintain all PLM content to comply with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 5 years experience in a supply chain or similar operations role.

  • Experience with BOM (Bill of Materials) management for consumer electronics products using a PLM system

  • Great attention to detail with strong written/verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional analytical and Excel skills
