Job Description

Square is looking for an extraordinary performance marketer to help drive new user growth through Paid Social Channels. As a member of the Demand Generation Team, you’ll be responsible for helping build and manage campaigns across a variety of Social channels, working with cross functional teams to support Square’s core payments business, and SaaS products.

This is an excellent role for candidates that have 4+ years of relevant experience and are excited about using their skills alongside a strong marketing team to build one of the strongest brands in FINTECH.

You Will

  • Lead the creation and evolution of the Paid Social strategy for Square’s core set of business products.

  • Manage Social Media advertising using performance goals that drive new user adoption.

  • Implement and optimize performance across various acquisition and awareness campaigns.

  • Work with our various social partners to ensure we’re following best practices and gaining access to relevant betas.

  • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of reports, budgets, campaign performance, ROI, LTV, and other channel metrics.

  • Build out tests to prove out hypotheses and recommend performance optimizations along with best practices.

  • Take a data driven approach to managing campaigns and derive insights on strategy and performance.

  • Help support weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics, goals, and other KPI’s.  

  • Monitor  analytics dashboards and key reporting tools, pointing out key areas of importance

  • Communicate weekly updates, progress reports, timelines, and results.

  • Write creative briefs to define program objectives and KPIs, optimizing campaigns to maximize ROI.

  • Work closely with the other teams and stakeholders to ensure acquisition goals are met.

Qualifications

You Have

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • At least 4+ years of related digital or Social Media Advertising experience.

  • Deep understanding of Social platforms and their best practices.

  • Ability to navigate Facebook Business Manager and experience with Facebook Marketing Partners.

  • Experience working cross-functionally and optimizing towards multiple KPIs.

  • A Passion for Marketing. You stay up to date on the industry, platforms and changes as they roll out.

  • A firm grasp of Analytics, A/B Testing, and metrics driven (performance) marketing.

  • Strong analytical ability and are an advanced Excel nerd.

  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.

  • An energetic and willing attitude.

  • The ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for senior executives.
