Job Description

AM Capital Specialists are responsible for contacting Square Sellers on a daily basis to help them understand the Capital product. You will be using language that is compliant with lending regulations (however, this is not a scripted position). This team will close the loop with the Capital product team to develop products that are in alpha and beta, bring direct customer feedback to internal stakeholders, and develop compliant content that is consistent across products. Ultimately, the specialized Capital team helps merchants make the best decision for their business when it comes to Capital.

 

You will:

  • Conduct daily outbound outreach to Square customers via phone and email

  • Educate customers on what’s available to them through Square Capital

  • Effectively and strategically address customer concerns and issues understanding when to transfer to a different team for retention or growth needs

  • Daily management and prioritization of a sales pipeline to drive revenue and achieve performance goals

  • Contribute to building the specialist team, tools, and processes needed to serve an ever-increasing portion of our customer base

  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive efficiency, productivity and customer-experience improvements

  • Collect, organize, and relay customer feedback to Capital’s product and operations teams

  • Become an expert on a product for the Capital Specialist team - every individual on this team will be responsible for educating teammates on the product they’re responsible for

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or relevant experience

  • Passion for Square’s mission and values

  • The ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Superior time management and prioritization skills

  • An understanding of the lending space

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized

  • Goal oriented and metrics driven

  • A positive attitude and are a team player

  • Salesforce skills are a plus

  • Prior leadership experience is a plus
