The role
Square is looking for a People Operations Specialist on the People Experience and Operations team to help provide a great experience to Squares globally. You will be responsible for:
Responding to incoming employee queries in a timely manner and maintaining a high Customer Satisfaction Score
Keep Square safe by executing on employment authorization checks and employee handbook administration among other processes.
Respond to requests for data from partners, for audits and other legal requirements
Manage the physical mail and voicemails addressed to the Square People Team
Process and audit transactions in Workday as needed
Work on ongoing process improvement projects
Qualifications
The basics
- 2+ years experience in HR, or employee experience roles
- A basic understanding of HR processes is critical and required
- Ability to handle confidential data and maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with Workday or another HRIS system is critical and required
- Preferred-Familiarity with Service Cloud or other ticketing system
- Preferred-experience working with contingent workers
- Preferred-prior experience supporting work authorization globally
