Job Description

Square is looking for a strategic, creative, and results-oriented Associate Brand Manager to join the Brand Team. In this role, you will partner closely with the Brand Marketing Managers to deliver cohesive marketing initiatives designed to further the Square brand and drive the Square business. You will collaborate on marketing and media strategy and planning for brand and product awareness campaigns. You will lead campaign execution and assist with on-going campaign management. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working on a global brand. They will have worked on a variety of marketing programs to increase brand and product awareness and promote customer engagement. They will feel comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams and external partners, and they will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You Will:

  • Assist with strategy and planning for brand marketing initiatives 

  • Assist in developing campaign plans, including choosing the appropriate channel mix and budgets

  • Manage campaign execution and program management

  • Manage campaign budgets including maintaining budget worksheets, pacing reports, and invoicing

  • Assist in campaign and creative deliverables  

  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and analyze campaign performance 

  • Report on major brand marketing initiatives and efforts on a recurring basis

  • Manage product placement and third-party brand usage 

  • Identify marketing trends across industries with a specific focus on small business, technology, eCommerce, food & beverage, and sports & events


You Have:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience

  • Understanding of all marketing touch points, especially digital

  • Self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills

  • Experience working in a global organization

  • Strong project and time management skills

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
