Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Analytics Manager to drive measurement and insights for marketing of our Square Capital lending products. You will lead analytics for all marketing channels (paid, earned, and owned), and partner with cross functional teams to identify trends in the data and opportunities to optimize campaigns and product initiatives. You will also collaborate with the marketing team to design experiments (A/B and multivariate tests), evaluate results, and make go-forward decisions based on the results.
You Will:
Own the data. Lead aggregating, tracking, and measuring performance (upper funnel marketing and downstream product conversions), evaluating the success of marketing initiatives against KPI goals (conversions, CPAs, CLTV, ROI). Develop dashboards to communicate the data in a clear and digestible way so that the team can easily assess trends.
Be an indispensable partner working side-by-side with marketing, engineering, design, product management, operations and sales. Provide insights to help the team understand they why behind existing marketing and product trends, and have a seat at the table to make go-forward decisions based on this data.
Identify gaps and opportunities and collaborate with marketing to come up with strategies to optimize existing campaigns and create new, efficient initiatives. Proactively uncover business insights that represent meaningful blind spots in our marketing performance.
Assist the marketing team in creating the optimal setup and plan for running experiments.
Qualifications
You Have:
5+ years of experience in a data/marketing analytics, consulting, or other quantitative role
Experience with evaluating performance marketing through media mix modeling, attribution modeling, CPAs, CLTV, and ROI.
Proficiency in visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
A deep understanding of statistical analysis to assist in A/B and multivariate testing.
Experience writing SQL and ETL queries.
General understanding of marketing channels (ie email, paid marketing, SEO, in product marketing) a plus.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
Get-it-done mentality. You’re excited to roll up your sleeves and be scrappy.
A degree in math, finance, statistics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative field.
