Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Manager to help Square drive revenue against individual, team and Sales organizations quotas. Your entrepreneurship will be a valuable contribution to developing our strategy, growing the team, and establishing a culture of crisp execution.

You will:

  • Refine the outbound sales strategy, process, and tactics to improve performance

  • Support direct reports by participating in client and prospect meetings

  • Develop sales team which includes hiring and training new account executives on sales process

  • Use sales metrics to manage the team and individual Account Executives, tracking the results and reporting to senior management

  • Conduct weekly forecast and pipeline meetings with Account Executives

  • Coach direct reports regarding strategies to increase revenue and customer success

  • Use the customer voice to improve interactions and product

  • Envision new ideas and approaches and take them to fruition


You have:

  • 2+ years of sales management experience with team performance above 100% to goal
  • Managed teams that have focused on generating outbound revenue 

  • Knowledge and experience in successful outbound tools and sales processes

  • The ability to rapidly hire and train new account executives

  • Promote partnering with cross-functional teams and departments in an environment of growth

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Expertise in creating rigor around sales metrics and managing yourself or others to drive to these metrics

  • Create an environment where people are encouraged to share information, constructively debate, and communicate freely

  • Improve decision-making and consider the downstream and upstream effects of potential decisions
