Job Description
We are looking for a Restaurants Sales Manager that will help Square drive revenue against the individual, team, and Sales organizations quotas for our National Restaurant Sales team. Your entrepreneurship will be a valuable contribution to developing our strategy, growing the team, and establishing a culture of crisp execution. This Manager will also help create our go to market sales strategy while building a growing national sales team.
You will:
Support direct reports by participating in client and prospect meetings
Mentor and develop a sales team which includes hiring and training new Account Executives & BDRs specifically for restaurants sales
Use sales metrics to manage the team and individual AEs & BDRs, tracking the results and succinctly reporting to senior management
Conduct weekly forecast and pipeline meetings with AEs
Coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive revenue and customer success
Evolve & refine the sales strategy, process and tactics to improve performance
Use the customer voice to drive improvements in interactions and product
Envision new and innovative ideas and approaches and take them to fruition
Qualifications
You have:
2-5 years of SMB management experience with consistent team performance above 100% to goal
Knowledge and experience in successful outbound tools, sales processes, and the restaurant industry
Facilitate working with and influencing cross-functional teams and departments in an environment of rapid growth
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Expertise in creating rigor around sales metrics and managing yourself and/or others to drive to these metrics
Create an environment where people are encouraged to share information, constructively debate, and communicate freely
Streamline decision-making and consider the downstream and upstream effects of potential decisions
Excellent presentation and listening skills
Experience in cross-functional work that aligned stakeholders to a common goal
