Job Description

As the St. Louis Office Manager, your role is to ensure that the office is operating effectively every day, while building a place that connects Squares to each other and our seller community. You will work with all teams across the company to help deliver a best in class experience. Our office manager is a creative problem solver, poised under pressure, and available resource to all of the employees in the St. Louis office.

You Will:

  • Facilitate day-to-day office operations

  • Responsible for building localized programs that connect Square’s with each other and their communities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Culinary, Facilities, Events, AV, Trust and Safety, etc) to ensure those areas of the office are running smoothly and efficiently

  • Support employee, candidate and guest experience

  • Build strong relationships with local team, site leads 

  • Lead the team seating moves, adds, and changes process

  • Responsible for managing the office budget and reconciling it monthly

  • Manage work order queue and ensure team is responding to all work order tickets submitted within committed SLAs

  • Coordinate and manage vendors on site (janitorial, pest, furniture)

  • Create inspiring, engaging experiences and/or installations featuring local Square sellers

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 2+ years of Office Manager, Office Coordinator, or Project manager experience

  • Experience working in small startup environments a plus

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, strong presentation skills

  • Demonstrated administrative experience supporting a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work on a team and independently

  • Extremely reliable and with impeccable attention to detail

  • Thrive in an environment with multiple different projects, prioritizing appropriately

  • Strong vendor management experience
